Prevents tolerance developing

Caution in Elderly -> Fall risk

Heparin

Haemophillia
& Von Willebrand disease
Tranexamic acid used in?
Dental, surgery, Menorrhagia
Tranexamic acid side effects and max dose?
GI side effects
Max dose 4g
In heart failure what is decompensated?
It is Symptomatic
immediate treatment needed
In heart failure what is compensated?
When it is Non symptomatic
Heart functioning well enough
Chronic HF 1st line?
ACE + Betablocker
Chronic HF if not tolerated give what?
Hydrazine + nitrates
In chronic HF if symptoms still persist what is given after 1st/2nd line treatment?
Aldosterone antagonist - Spironlactone, Eplerone
Sinus HF treatment? Dose?
