60
If the CDI source is changed while the AP is engaged in NAV mode, what happens?
AP reverts to Roll mode, NAV must be reselected
61
In cold ambient temperatures, what speed would be beneficial to help with landing gear operation?
113kts, particularly for the retraction of gear.
62
How long will the backup artificial horizon and flood light have power for?
1.5hrs
63
How much should the takeoff distance be modified for wind?
Reduce by 3% for each 4 knots of headwind, and increase the distance by 5 knots for each 2 knots of tailwind.
64
How much should the landing distance be modified for wind?
Reduce distance by 2% for each knot of headwind, increase total distance by 4% for each knot of tailwind
65
In regards to the controls, do they use control rods or cables?
Control rods for ailerons and elevator, cable for the rudder
66
What is the purpose of the variable elevator backstop?
Limits the elevator up travel to 13° as soon as the power setting of BOTH engines exceeds 14.5" at sea level with the flaps up. This is 2.5° less than the 15.5° maximum deflection. If the power is less than 14.5" or the flaps are deployed then full deflection will become available.
67
How does the Carbon Monoxide detector work?
Will alert within 5 minutes or less if the carbon monoxide reaches 50 parts per million by volume. Alert will happen faster if intensity is greater, instant alert at 400 parts per million.

How is the gear operated?
Electrically actuated hydraulically operated.
69
How long does gear extension typically take?
6-10 seconds
70
Does the hydraulic pressure keep the gear extended or retracted?
Retracted, so that if pressure is lost the gear will fall.
71
How is the landing gear locked in the down position?
Downlock hooks which are assisted by springs to maintain force.
72
When will the warning horning sound for gear not extended?
Any of the throttles below 14" with gear retracted, OR if the flaps are put in the LDG stage with gear retracted
