Q

What movement was Wordsworth apart of and what is it?

A

Wordsworth was apart of the Romantic Movement. It was one of the most influential literary movements of the 19th century. It was an increasing interest in nature, and the mysterious workings of the natural world. An emphasis on the power of imagination. A desire to celebrate and capture the ‘perfect moment’ or the beauty of nature itself in a descriptive, lyrical, and personal language. An awareness that perfection is fleeting, transitory, and elusive. It was created during the IR when people rarely saw nature.
