  • Forgivness is instant

  • you don’t earn forgivness

Trust

  • Must be built over time
  • is build on works

Q

Prayer of forgivness

A

“Father, only you understand how much I’ve been hurt by these people. I don’t want to carry the pain for another second. I don’t want to be a bitter person. But I need your grace and the power of the cross to release my hurt and to forgive those who’ve hurt me. This is the turning point. First, I need to experience your forgivness. You know all the ways I’ve hurt others, and I’m so sorry for my sins. Jesus, Thank you for dying for me. I accept your grace and forgivness, and I need it daily. Today I’m turning to you, and I’m choosing the way to forgive the way you have forgiven me. Every time the memory comes back, I’ll forgive them again until the pain is gone. Heal my heart with your grace. In Jesus’ name. Amen”

Q

How do you get to know God?

A

1) Open your life to Jesus Christ. Say,” Jesus Christ, I want to get to know you. I want to learn to love you the way you loved me, even before i knew it.I want to have a relationship with you.” You were made for a relationship with God- not a religion of fear, rules, regulations, and rituals but a relationship where you talk to God all the time and he speaks to you. That is the antidote to your deepest loinliness.
2) Join a small group where other people can get to know you and where you find the support network you need when you are going through those tough times.

Q

How do you get God’s power into your life? There are three ways:

A

1) You get Gods power by praying. If you don’t have any power in your life that tells me one thing. Your not praying. Praying and power go together.
2) You get God’s power to taking risks to obey God. When you take a risk to do what God tells you to do, even when it is hard or unpopular, even when it may cost you, even when it dosen’t make sense, even when nobody else is doing it. God will pour out his power into your life.
3) You get God’s power by not giving up. Don’t give up! In order for God to grow your faith, he’s got to test it. When your going through dificulties and delays and dead ends and despair and descouragment, God is teaching you to trust Him. If you hang on, God will bless you.
