Do you think data-driven models will replace rule-based models?
A
No. Both have advantages.
Rule-based = portable
Rule-based = incorp. design codes.
Data-driven = too much variation in rules

Would your automated ground modelling tool remove bias?
A
No. But it lessens the bias in some way.
2 bias sources = data processing + data interpretation
The use of the algorithm will not remove the bias at the data processing stage but it will reduce the bias at the data interpretation stage.

Data = unprocessed facts Information = data that has been interpreted Knowledge = combination of information and experience to make decisions
