What is the rule of thumb to prevent inadvertent transfer of hydraulic fluid?
Pressurize right system first and depressurize right system last.

RH Wheel Well
What can be done to allow the nose landing gear (NLG) to move beyond the normal steering limit?
Disconnect the torsion links
What does the NLG Door Close Switch do?
Only opens/closes NLG doors

What does the red landing gear unsafe light indicate?
The door is open and it is not safe to go into the wheel well
What should you ensure before entering the wheel well?
The DOOR UNSAFE LIGHT in the wheel well of the NLG is OFF
What indicates the lock/unlock condition of the PCA in the main gear steering system?
A silver indicator in the lock indication window on the unlock LVDT
What can disable MLG steering?
A manual shut-off valve
When does the MLG gear steering status message on EICAS show?
- Failure in a MLG component
- Steering/locking PCA is disabled

- Disagreement between the landing gear lever & position for more than 40s
- Landing gear doors are open

Brake light - ON

- Install a flight dispatch disconnect tool in the brake position on the anti-skid valve module
- Disconnect brake line
- Remove brake assembly
