What is Disembodied existence?
Existing without a physical body
What is the resurrection?
Living on after death in a glorified physical form in a new realm
What is reincarnation?
A human soul leaving one body and being reborn into another of the same world
What do christians believe out of reincarnation or resurrection?
We believe in the idea of resurrection as when Jesus died, he resurrected into heaven and we believe this will happen to us

Arriving in somewhat heaven
How do Paul’s letters show significance
Paul talks about being like seeds. When we resurrect, our body is what was sown but our spiritual body is whats being raised and we are changed.
What do christians believe about the soul?
- Our soul will have a new body
- Our personalities stay the same
- This occurs only through the grace of God

A face to face encounter with God
What does Aquinas say about the soul?
All living things have souls.
Animals = sensitive
Plants = vegetative
Humans = rational
When we die, our souls don’t die but the other do. Perfect happiness is only achieved after death.
