BULIMIA
A mental health condition and an eating disorder
SCHIZOPHRENIA
A long term mental health condition. Can’t distinguish real and fake thoughts. Causes significant changes in behaviour. Everyone is different so it’s hard to say exactly what it is.
ANOREXIA NERVOSA
A mental health condition
STROKE
The blood supply to the brain is cut off. Due to a clot caused by fatty deposits (ISCHEATIC) or due to a burst blood vessel (HAEMORRHAGIC)
DIABETES
A condition that means the blood sugar levels are too high (because the body simply cant make insulin (TYPE 1) or if the body has too much sugar in it or is unable to use the insulin produced (TYPE 2)

Cancer of the bowel

LEUKAEMIA
Cancer of the white blood cells, white blood cells are the cells that fight off infection there is acute and chronic, both have their own treatments. acute is much quicker whereas chronic is slower.
CHLAMYDIA
A sexually transmitted infection caused by growth of bacteria
HERPES
A sexually transmitted infection/virus caused by the herpes simplex virus, can lay dormant in the body and is a life long condition. (can’t be cured just managed)
GONORRHOEA
A sexually transmitted infection.
CORONARY HEART DISEASE
Is when your heart’s blood supply is blocked or interrupted by a build-up of fatty substances in the coronary arteries.
ASTHMA
A life long condition that is caused by inflammation in the airways, not always an impact however is set off by triggers.
