  1. Black & White: symbolize both extreme and duality and represent many different backgrounds, ideologies, and interests that members bring to the fraternity
  2. Red: represents our passion to succeed and symbolizes the mentality of DEM that of energy, strength, and determination

Letters

A
  1. Delta: the difference between separate entities that are connected through a shared ideology and creed
  2. Epsilon: the astronomical designation of several nearby stars that symbolizes the concepts of striving for distant goals that can be achieved through hard work and determination
  3. Mu: depiction of entites that are barely visible and have negligible influence as individual parts, but when brought together have greater imapct
  4. Joint Meaning: our aim is to shorten the distance between us, the members of DEM< and our goals and dreams

Crest

A
  1. Established by Michael Tauriello, one of the 36 founders whose emblem was chosen to represent the fraternitys strive to unite pre-health majors around the campus. Includes the representation of medicine, nursing, psychology, PT, and dental fields
  2. Changed on July 20th, 2013 at the national convention. Designed by Ashley Goldman of the Eta Chapter which bears 4 pillars representing Loyalty, Dedication, Friendship, and Support
  3. The Crest may be worn publicly only by an active member or alumni in good standing

  1. Omega chapter is reserved for all brothers and sisters nationwide who have passed on
  2. Omega Class at a given chapter is reserved for all brothers and sisters of a given chapter who have passed on
