Its xanthalesma and cause is primary biliary cholangitis due to hyperlipidemia
Which oral medication is given for hair loss in men and what happens to testosterone,DHT and estradiol levels after that medication?
Finasteride( 5 alpha-reductase inhibitor) stops the conversion of testosterone to DHT.
Hence testosterone levels rise, DHT levels fall
Testosterone is then converted to estradiol leading to gynecomastia as a side effect.
What do black and brown, red, and lastly grey and white areas on melanoma represent?
1.black and brown shows advancing neoplastic melanocytes
2.red shows vessel ectasia(dilation) and local inflammation.
3.grey and white areas show melanocyte regression
