How do you find the median?
Order the data set from smallest to largest. The number in the middle is the median. If there are two numbers in the middle, add them and divide by 2.
How do you find the mean?
Add all the numbers and divide by the amount of numbers.
How do you find the mode?
The number(s) that occurs the most. Can have more than 1.
How do you find the range?
Subtract the smallest number from the largest.
How do you find Q1?
Find the median of the lower quartile.
*DO NOT include the median (Q2) when calculating Q1 or Q3.
How do you find Q2?
Q2 is the median of the whole data set.
How do you find Q3?
Find the median of the upper quartile.
*DO NOT include the median (Q2) when calculating Q1 or Q3.
How do you find IQR?
Subtract the upper quartile (Q3) and the lower quartile (Q1)
