Due to nature of investigation , studies can often be based on qualitative data - subjective to bias

May focus on childhood = deterministic

A

All behaviour in adulthood is effected by experiences in childhood

Developmental changes are results of inherited factors (nature ) which include events that occur as a result of maturation such as puberty
