- Mediterranean diet
- 45 to 60g of carbs per meal (ex. slice of bread = 15g carbs)

- GI symptoms: N/V, diarrhea
- Fruity breath and polyuria (body’s attempt to excrete sugar)

- Can they eat? (ex. 4oz of juice for blood glucose 50-70, 8 oz of juice for <50)
- Do they have IV access? (D50W 12.5mL for 50-70, 25mL for <50 for IV access; no IV access, give glucagon)
