What microvascular problems does diabetes mellitus cause?

List the other causes of DM

1. Steroids: anti-HIV drugs, newer antipsychotics, thiazides
2. Pancreatic: pancreatitis, surfet, trauma, pancreatic destruction (haemochromatiosis, CF), pancreatic cancer
3. Cushing's disease; acromegaly; phaeochromocytoma; hyperthyroidism, pregnancy
4. Others: congenital lipodystrophy; glycogen storage diseases
