An example of positive symptoms in schizophrenia is experiencing delusions.

What are delusions?

A

They are bizarre beliefs that seem real to the person with schizophrenia, however they are not actually real.
They can be paranoid in nature for example believing that there are hidden cameras around your home.
Often schizophrenics believe that someone is following them or spying on them
