A

:Babies are generally NOT exposed to sunlight an important source of vitamin D which is needed to build strong hones and teeth . Babies are recommended to be given Vitamin D supplements from birth until they are 1 years old.

:Introduce one food at a time , so that any food intolerance can be recognised

: Children should eat a variety of healthy foods in the daily serving amounts given in the food pyramid .

: Fussy eating habits can be discouraged by involving children in meal preparation and encouraging them to try new foods . Adults should be a good example by eating healthy foods

: Food should be attractively presented and portions should be child sized

: Always eat breakfast , this will prove alertness and increase concentration .

:If alcohol is consumed, adults should limit their intake to 11 standard drinks per week for woman and 17 standard drinks per week for men
: don’t consume more then 6 g of salt per day. Excess salt can contribute to obesity and coronary heart disease.

2 meals planning guidelines are : Avoid gaining to much weight , as it can cause complications such as high blood pressure. : do not smoke of drink alcohol as both substances can cause serious harm to the baby
