What is formula and how is it used?
Formal is used instead of breast milk and is is vital that all equipment is sterile and that the manufacturer instructions are followed exactly because if not the baby could get ill.
What food should you give the baby while weaning
Babies are born with enough iron to last 6 months. Introduce iron rich foods.
Babies over 6 months need vitamin c through fruit and vegetables.
Babies are not exposed to sunlight so a source of vit d is important.
Introduce one food at a time (allergies)
No sugar or salt to be added to foods this can lead to kidney damage.
By age one they should be eating the same foods as the rest of the family.

Same as adults
