What is weaning?

A

.Babies are introduced to solid food after six months. This is called weaning.
.Babies are born with enough iron to last 6 months. Introduce iron rich foods.
.Babies over 6 months vitamin c through puréed fruit and vegetables.

.Introduce one food at a time (allergies)
.No sugar or salt to be added to foods this can lead to kidney damage.
