We didn’t enjoy the journey because the sea was very rough. When we got to the port, many people were seasick.

What a long journey! I don’t like driving on motorways. The service stations are very bad and the petrol they sell is very expensive.

I’m sorry to arrive so late. There was a delay and we spent three-quarters of an hour standing on the platform because there weren’t any seats in the waiting room.

The flight was delayed for quite a long time because some of the airport workers were on strike. Then, when we arrived here, we had to wait a long time to collect our luggage.
