No. the RF will move slightly back. this should not be a deliberate action but a reaction caused by the slight “sitting” action on step 1. The RF will then be picked up and placed forward to continue with the figure. make sure step is taken on the heel

-LF back turning lady to her left and releasing the right-hand hold. RF to side and close LF to RF without weight to end in right open position. Continue with steps 6-10 of the normal open fan to end facing LOD
