as a response to ongoing conflict between 1919 and 1925. European politicians met in the neutral territory of Locarno in Switzerland to discuss stuff.

what they agreed in the Locarno treaty

A

F, G and B agreed to respect the borders between them.

F and B would not try to occupy German Rhur as they had done in 1924.

G would never attack B or F like they had done in 1914

G accepted that the Rhineland should remain demilitarised .

Italy and B would monitor the situation to make sure no agreements were broken

France promised to protect B, P and Czh if G ever attacked them

all 7 countries G, F, BRI, P ,I, BEL, CZH agreed to go to the L of N to solve any disputes
