-Affected the reproductive organs of chickens
-Infection occurs at any age of lay

-Leads to urate deposition or urolithiasis

Post-Mortem Lesions:
-No specific lesions
-Slight atrophy of ovary and oviduct

Treatment and Prevention:
-NO TREATMENT
-Vaccination prior to lay

Egg drop at peak or failure to pick
-Drops 5 to 50% and lasts for 3-4 weeks

Rough, thin or soft-shelled egg, shell-less eggs

Diagnosis:
-History, lack of signs/lesions
-Isolation and identification of agent
-Serology, HI, SN, DID, ELISA
