Q

How do you prepare for difficult schedules to eat well?

A

Plan meals in advance so you have it ready to eat.

Portable meals so they can be eaten quickly anywhere they want.

Team meals - if part of training involves the team eating together, coaches will know their players are eating adequately. Players then don’t have to cook for themselves as much, relieving some of the burden.

Positive food reinforcement is important.

Players can create a food log to keep track of their daily intake. Then coaches will be able to recognise if an athlete has disordered eating problem and adjustments can be made.
