A displacement reaction is where the more reactive element will displace (take the place of) the less

using displacement reactions experiment:

A

Method:
1) Place the piece of metal into the
solution of each metal salt solution
in a spotting tile.
Record any changes in appearance or
colour of the metal or solution.
Put the metals in order of reactivity.
The most reactive will have the
greatest number of reactions
