A

A quadrat is usually a square made of wire, the organisms beneath plants can be observed.

What are the benefits of using a quadrat?

A

Samples can be collected from different places. The reliability of the results increase as more quadrats are taken. In addition, it can be used for slow-moving animals e.g snail, slug.
