What are the differences between diversity and inclusion?

What does inclusive communication include?
Sharing information in a way that everybody can understand
What is partnering and collaborative working?
Arrangement whereby 2 or more organisations work together, usually over a period of time, with the deliberate purpose of achieving shared aims
What is unsupported bias and how can you reduce it?
Prejudice / stereotyping in a way that is considered unfair. It can be reduced by improving awareness, encouraging discussions and being inclusive.
What is a common issue you have come across when working in a team?
Input being overlooked if there are too many people working on a project
Why is diversity and inclusion valuable to businesses?
Different opinions = improved efficiency & quality of work produced

What is a RACI matrix?
Responsibility assignment matrix is a diagram that identifies the key roles and responsibilities of users against major tasks within a project.

Explain Tuckmans theory in relation to teamwork
Focuses on how a team approaches a task. Teams move through stages known as forming, storming, norming, performing and adjourning. Each member understands each other’s strengths and weaknesses enough with one another to help.

Ensuring diversity in the workplace is an important asset of an organisation as it acknowledges the individual strengths of each employee and the potential they bring.
