What is a purpose?
The reason for doing something or one’s intention.
What is formatting text?
Organising or planning the document.
What is an audience?
The people who read your document.
When making a document, what factors would you might need to consider?
Consider your audience and their interests, occupation, and age. Also consider the consistency through out it, if the font size and style is the same.
What is a document?
A piece of writing that provides information, evidence, or serves as an official record.
What is text wrapping?
When text is set to follow the outline of an image.
What is aspect ratio?
The ratio of the width to the height of an image. It’s important to maintain the aspect ratio so the picture won’t look distorted.
What is a margin?
It’s the area between the main page and edges.
What is a page orientation?
The position of your document. The two most common types of orientation are portrait and landscape.
What is a header?
It’s the top section of a document.
What is a footer?
It’s the bottom section of a document.
What is a border?
Lines and images that add design and emphasis to a document.
What are tables?
They organise text into cells, where a cell is the intersection of a row and a column.
What are numbering and bullets?
Are used to give importance to lists of things and usually make them easier to read and follow.
What is a hyperlink?
A way if directing your audience to another document or website.
It is a word processing program that allows you to type, edit and print documents.
