There are formulated foods and there are tested foods.
What dose formulated mean in the word formulated foods?
This mean that product has been produced to meet guidelines set by the AAFCO but not actually been fed to dogs.
What dose tested mean in the word tested foods?
This means that the product was produced to meet AAFCO guidelines then fed to dogs prier to sell to insure it meets important criteria related to the growth maintenance and reproduction of dogs.
What are fixed formula foods?
This is when the food contains exactly what the outside label says. Fixed-formula ingredients do not change from bag to bag or can to can.

The product may not contain what the label says because the manufacturer is allowed to change the formula before the label is changed to reflect whats inside the bag or can

Their bones are not fully developed and permanent injury could result.

why is gastric violation-volvolous serious?
In bloat the stomach fills with air and puts pressure on internal organs. The animal has trouble breathing and the blood vessels are compressed.Once the stomach is filled with air then the stomach can rotate, pinching off the blood flow?
