Definition of Domestic Abuse

A

• Both are over 16, personally connected & the behaviour is abusive
• Behaviour is ‘abusive’ if its:
- physical or sexual abuse
- violent or threatening behaviour
- controlling or coercive behaviour
• Doesn’t matter if its a single incident or a course or conduct
