Have to Read it at Every Domestic Violence call, even if you have to come back again (read it again). As well as give them the card you read. Active Restraining order or not, the card will be read.

Surrender of Fire Arms, 209A Section A3.
A Person cand review the order to surrender no less than 10 Court Business days.
If Firearms are apart of your job, no less than 2 Business Days
Surrender shall last as long as the restraining order
Section 209A Section 4, Temporary Orders
Defendant can explain their side and a hearing will occur and be held no less than 10 court business days
Only valid for 10 as it is an EX PURTE order, meaning one party is present
Emergency Order
Judge may grant the order OVER THE PHONE to an Officer
The Officer will record this and deliver a copy to the court on the next Court Business day
The Plaintiff shall appear in court on the NEXT Court Business day to file a complaint
Only Valid until Next Court Business day

It is the Protection of Restraining Orders from other jurisdictions
(Federal Law)
Officers can rely on victim statements of a restraining order (Arrest based off statements), but must and will verify the order from a duty supervisor of that jurisdiction. (Due Diligence to confirm)
