what are the ideas of old labour and examples of how they did it?

A

equality –> tax and welfare should be used to reduce differences in income
collectivism –> the welfare state to be funded by taxes and all should be equally entitled to it.
capitalism –> key industries should be nationalised

A

started in 1944 under blairs goverment.

what were the ideas and examples of how they did it?

A

individualism –> low income tax should be retained to encourage work and home ownership encouraged
free market –> no more nationalism, some further privatisation and reduce corporate taxes to encourage enterprise
welfare state –> increasing spending on health and education
