IM/IV/NEB Adrenaline

A

IM
- A: 500/300(pregnant)mcg repeated @ 5mins –> no max.
- P: 6y+ 300mcg/1-5y 150mcg/6m-1y 100mcg/<6m 50mcg repeated @ 5mins –> no max.
IV
- CCP/QAS Clinical consultation line (if no CCP present).
NEB (upper airway obstruction present, refractory to 3x IM Adrenaline)
- A/P: 5mg –> single dose only.

A: 250ml bolus
P: bolus (QAS Clinical consult required)

IM/IV Glucagon

A

IM/IV (persistent hypotension/shock present, refractory to 3x IM Adrenaline)
A: 1mg –> single dose only (reconstituted with 1ml WFI to achieve 1mg/1ml)
P: >25kg 1mg/<25kg 0.5mg –> single dose only (reconstituted with 1ml WFI to achieve 1mg/1ml / decant half to achieve 0.5mg/0.5ml)
