What is a Header/Footer?
Space at the top/bottom of a page for page no., dates, author name etc.

Using contrasting colours makes elements stand out
How can contrast be used in shapes?
When two shapes go two different ways, it can draw in the eyes of a viewer

Makes publication look tidy
