Adult dose of Oxygen for Critical Illness requiring HIGH levels of supplemental oxygen
BVM / NRBM @ 15 L/min
-until vitals normal -> reduce O2 to aim for
Target SpO2 94-98%
Paediatric Dose of Oxygen for Significant illness AND/OR Injury
BVM / NRBM 15 L/min
Adult dose of Oxygen for Serious illness with hypoxemia requiring MODERATE levels of supplemental oxygen
SpO2 85%
= NC @ 2-4 L/min or SFM @ 5-10 L/min
= Target of 94-98% SpO2
Adult dose of Oxygen for Oxygenation monitoring when oxygen therapy not required unless Hypoxaemic
SpO2
Adult dose of Oxygen for Condiitions requiring CONTROLLED or LOW dose oxygen therapy
=NC @ 2-4 L/min
=Target 88-92% SpO2
If still
Paediatric Dose of Ipratropium Bromide
NEB
- > 2yo 250mcg
- single dose
Adult dose of Ipratropium Bromide
NEB
- 500mcg
- single dose
Adult doses of adrenaline Anaphylaxis or severe allergic reaction
- 250- 500mcg IMI repeatable every five mins whilst still indicated,
- neb = 5 mg single dose only for isolated facial swelling / angioedema with no stridor at rest.
Paediatric doses of adrenaline for Anaphylaxis or severe allergic reaction
10lg = 300mcg IM
Repeat @ 5mins prn
Paediatric doses of adrenaline for Anaphylaxis or severe allergic reaction with Isolated facial swelling or angioedema with no stridor at rest
5 mg nebuliser
single dose only.
Paediatric doses of adrenaline for Severe life threatening bronchospasm
10lg = 300mcg IM @ 5mins prn
Paediatric doses of adrenaline for Cardiac arrest
10kg = 10 mcg / kg
Repeatable every 3-5 mins prn
Adult doses of adrenaline for Severe life threatening bronchospasm
- 250 - 500 mcg IMI
repeatable at 5 min intervals NMD
Paediatric doses of adrenaline for Croup with stridor at rest
5 mg nebulised single dose only.
Adult doses of adrenaline for Cardiac arrest
- 1mg IVI repeatable at 3-5 mins NMD
