4. Responsible for acquisition, collation, interpretation & dissemination of info.
5. Prepare Sitrep and Isum.
6. Demand and distribute maps and air photos.
7. Co-ordinate security of Bde.
8. Act as USO of Bde HQ.
9. Liaison with lower units, higher and flanking formations.
10. Liaison with interpreters and special int pers if attached.
11. Accompany cdr on recce, arrange for verbal orders.
12. Coordinate patrols.
13. Train Bde int section and coord int trg with Bde.
14. Maintain war diary.
15. Disposal of PW and captured war materials and documents.
