The duty includes the obligations to:
- respond promptly and completely
- assist in preventing the unauthorized practice of law/provisions of legal services
- obtain permission to work with or employ a person who is no longer authorized to practice law/provide legal services
- cease practicing law when the licence is suspended or other restricted
- submit tot he disciplinary authority of the Law Society
