Dysport (abobotulinumtoxinA) for injection is an acetylcholine release inhibitor and a neuromuscular blocking agent indicated for temporary improvement in the appearance of moderate to severe glabellar lines associated with procerus and corrugator muscle activity in adults < 65

Botulinum neurotoxin is produced by the bacterium Clostridium Botulinum.
SAME - botulinum toxins have same MOA blocking acetylcholine release from neurons to reduce muscle contraction by cleaving SNAP 25

Cows milk protein allergy
Toxin allergy
Infection at injection site
Under 18, pregnant or breast feeding

- dysphonia, dysarthria, breathing difficulties
- blurred vision

Dysport Reconstitution
Can be 1.5 or 2.5ml reconstitution
300 unit vial / 1.5ml saline = .05ml per site / 10 units per 5 sites total of .25ml per treatment (50 units)
