It would be rush hour and everyone would be rushing home and out on the streets .
Where is Haiti located
Haiti is in north of South America and located in the continent of North America. It is on the Caribbean plate and shares an island with a much wealthier country; the Dominican Republic.
What plate type is the Caribbean plate and what caused the earthquake.
It is a conservative plate and was moving at 2cm a year toward the North American Plate. This caused the pressure to build up over time and was suddenly let out at once.

Why did so many people die in Haiti?
They were not prepared as Haiti couldn’t afford eathquake proof building so the buildings fell down immediately tapping people with them.
