Adaptation

Symbiosis

Competition

An interaction in which one organism kills and eats the another.
Predator
An animal that kills and eats another.
Prey
An animal that is eaten by another animal.
Mutualism
A relationship in which both species benefit.
Commensalism
A relationship in which one species benefits and the other species is neither helped nor harmed. Very rare in nature.
Parasitism
A relationship where one organism lives in or on another organism and harms it.
Parasite
The organism that benefits in parasitism.
Host
The organism that is harmed in parasitism.
