A
Very large ecological areas on the earth’s surface, with fauna and flora (plants and animals) adapting to their environment.

Describe the distribution of the tropical rainforest biome.
A
Located between 10°N and 10°S of the Equator, where temperatures stay near 28°C throughout the year. Typically receive over 2000mm of rain each year.

Explain the distribution of the tropical rainforest biome.
A
Located near the equator due to the amount of rainfall and sunshine. Usually fall between the Tropics. The high temperatures mean that evaporation is very fast.
