What were Napolas?
A
These were boarding schools to train boys to become government administrators

What was the National Socialist Teachers League (NSLB)?
A
Set up in April 1929
- ‘Undesireable’ teachers had been purged by the law for the restoration of the civil service in April 1933.
- By 1937, it became almost impossible to get a job as a teacher if you were not in this union, and 97% of teachers had joined.
- As a result, the teachers had been shown the material that they need to teach through courses that they were expected to attend.
- The main aim was to indoctrinate children

Main changes in the Nazi era to education
A
- A significant increase in the amount of sport for both sexes – about 15% of the curriculum.
- History was focuses on created a volksgemeinschaft (community)
- Textbooks were censored, some were burned in the book burning of 1933, and new textbooks were made that indoctrinated children into believing that, for example, it was cheaper to kill disabled people than look after them.
- Biology focused on eugenics
- Girls focused on motherhood

Similar to Napolas, they were academies, but had a tighter focus on fitness instead of becoming government administrators. You must be racially pure to join and had to prove it.
