A

Ed took an aggressive approach with France to protect Calais and try and regain territory
French campaign = kings great enterprise
he gathered taxes but kept the money for himself as war didn’t happen

29th August 1475 - Treaty of Piquigny
Louis XI agreed to pay an initial payment of 75,000 crowns
+ annual pension of 50,000 crowns
7yr truce sealed with French Dauphin’s marriage to Eds eldest daughter Elizabeth
