The psychiatrist in charge or his/her delegate may prevent the voluntary patient
from leaving the facility on the basis of a psychological assessment for a period

In case of urgent necessity, the
patient may be given treatment
without his consent if necessary
to prevent an imminent
deterioration of the mental or
physical condition of the patient
who would endanger his or her
life or health or cause imminent
grave danger to the life and
health of others provided that it
does not exceed seventy-two
hours

patient refuses treatment, the
responsible psychiatrist has the right
to compel him to take the treatment.
Provided that the doctor has done all
the involuntary treatment procedures
before commencing treatment. The
involuntary treatment procedures
must be reviewed every four weeks at
most. And also if the therapist should
make any significant change in the
approved treatment plan.
If the involuntary treatment continues
for more than three months, another
independent medical assessment
should be obtained, as indicated in the
executive regulations of this law
