What are the Eight Limbs of Yoga?

What are the Yamas?
Ethical restraints or moral disciplines for interacting with the external world.
Name the five Yamas.
Ahimsa (non-violence), Satya (truthfulness), Asteya (non-stealing), Brahmacharya (moderation), Aparigraha (non-possessiveness).
What are the Niyamas?
Personal observances or inner disciplines for self-care and growth.

What is Asana?
Physical posture; originally intended to prepare the body for meditation.
What is Pranayama?

Withdrawal of the senses; turning inward away from external distractions.
What is Dharana?
Concentration; fixing the mind on a single object or point of focus.
What is Dhyana?
Meditation; uninterrupted flow of concentration.
What is Samadhi?
Absorption; a state of blissful union with the Self or universal consciousness.
