It is a comprehensive study of the significant impacts of the project on the environment. This document will be submitted by the EIA consultant that serves as an application for an ECC.
Environmental Impact System (EIS)
Environmentally critical projects (ECPs) with significant potential to cause negative environmental impacts.
Category A
Projects that are not categorized as ECPs, but may cause negative environmental impacts because they are located in Environmentally Critical Areas (ECAs)
Category B
Projects intended to directly enhance environmental quality or address existing environmental problems.
Category C
Projects unlikely to cause adverse environmental impacts.
Category D
Category A and B required to submit a _________
Environmental Compliance Certificate (ECC)
