What is current
Current t measures the number of electrons though a wire per second. The bigger the wire the more electrons there are in it so more can flow through it

Amperes/Amps (A)
What does voltage measure
The amount of pressure pushing electrons through a wire, like the pressure of water in a hose. The more the voltage is increased, the more energy is available to move the electrons through the wire
What is voltage measured in
Volts (V)
What does power measure
Power measures the rate of work done by electricity. The higher the voltage and current, the more electrical power available in the circuit

Electricity is the effect of stationary or moving charges

What conclusion can you make about current in a series circuit
The current is the same throughout the circuit
What do resistors do
Resistors slow down the current. The higher the value the greater the reduction in current
What conclusion can you make about voltage in a series circuit
The voltage in a series circuit will add up to the voltage of the batteries (this is conservation of energy)
