Q

Differences between single compound and mixture

A

Single compound has a fixed composition by mass while mixtures have a variable composition by mass.

Single compound have fixed MP and BP while mixtures have variable MP and BP.

Single compound have unique physical and chemical properties while mixtures have the same properties as its components.

Single compound cannot be easily separated by physical means while mixtures can be easily separated by physical means.
