A computer that’s built into another device dedicated to performing a single task.

What are the benefits of embedded systems? (3)
A
They are easier to design, cheaper to produce and more efficient.

What makes an embedded system and embedded system? (6)
A
If it is an intergrated system within the vehicle that performs no other purpose, has a very limited operating system, they have a simple user interface, use sensors to measure external factors in real time, they use a simple output to react to factors.

A
Low level operating systems held in the ROM that performs one specific task.
