Symptomatic Irreversible Pulpitis tx

A

Pulpotomy (molars, premolars) No endodontic instruments needed, place dry eugenol pellet over the vital pulp stump, temporary restoration. Appoint for screening appointment followed by endodontic treatment
Pulpectomy (anterior teeth) Obturate or calcium hydroxide.
Rx- Ibuprofen 600mg q6h for the first 36 hrs prn pain following

Pulpectomy gross debridement, copious irrigation with sodium hypochlorite, calcium hydroxide, and antibiotic depending on systemic signs of infection. Appoint for comp care followed by endodontic appointment
