Engine Fire on the Ground/ Emergency Shutdown
- Condition Lever - Cut Off / Feather
- Fuel Tank Selector - Off
- CONT IGN - Off
- STBY FP - Off
- FP - Off
- Bleed - Fully In
- Ventilation - Off
- Transmit Emergency Radio Call (if time permits)
- BATT - Off
- Evacuate
Rejected Take Off - Not Engine Related
- Power Lever - FI, REV is req
- Brakes - as req
If aircraft cannot be stopped on remaining runway - Condition Lever - Cut Off / Feather
- Fuel Tank Selector - Off
- CONT IGN - Off
- STBY FP - Off
- FP - Off
After aircraft has come to a stop - Batt - Off
- Evacuate if necessary
Engine Failure Before Rotation
- Power Lever - FI
- Condition Lever - Cut Off / Feather
- Brakes - as req
If aircraft cannot be stopped on the remaining runway - Fuel Tank Selector - Off
- CONT IGN - Off
- STBY FP - Off
- FP - Off
After the aircraft has come to a stop - Batt - Off
- Evacuate is necessary
Brake Failure
- Power Lever REV - Control taxi speed
- Brakes - Hand Control to other occupant is practicable
If situation is not rectified
- Nose wheel Steering - steer in safe direction
- Brakes - attempt several applications
If braking control is not regained
- Nose wheel Steering - Steer towards safe area or retardant surface
- Condition Lever - Cut Off / Feather
EFATO
- Airspeed - 90 to 105 KIAS
- Power Lever - FI
- Condition Lever - Cut Off / Feather
If time permits:
- LDG GEAR - as req
- FLAPS - as req
- FUEL Tank Selector - Off
- CONT IGN - Off
- STBY FP - Off
- FP - Off
After touchdown:
- Batt - Off
- Evacuate is necessary
Engine Fire / Mech Failure
Warning: Do not attempt to restart engine
- Airspeed - 90 to 105 KIAS
- Power Lever - FI
- Condition Lever - Cut Off / Feather
- FUEL Tank Selector - Off
- CONT IGN - Off
- STBY FP - Off
- FP - Off
- Bleed - Fully In
- Ventilation - Off
- Carry out forced landing or abandoning
Engine Failure in Flight / Non-mech
- Airspeed - 90 to 105 KIAS
- Power Lever - FI
- Condition Lever - Cut Off / Feather
- LDG GEAR - as req
- FLAPS - as req
What should you then do?
Consult FRCs
Power Lever Unresponsive
- Power Lever - FI
- GEN - Off
- CONT IGN - On
- Bleed - In
- Power Lever - Slowly Increase
If engine responds
- Power Lever - Set min 80% N1
- Gen - On
- Land ASAP
If engine doesn’t respond or TOT exceeds 810deg
- Condition Lever - Cut Off / Feather
- CONT IGN - Off
- STBY FP - Off
- FP - Off
- Air start - Perform if time permits
- Consider Forced Landing or Abandoning
Air start Initial
- Condition Lever - Cut Off / Feather
- Power Lever - FI
- Bleed - In
- Cont IGN - Off
- Gen - Off
- Batt Voltage - check 23V min
Airstart Batt Voltage <23V
- Avionics Master - Off, IDU 1
Airstart Batt Voltage 23V or greater
- Fuel tank selector - as req
- FP - On
- STBY FP - Auto
- Airspeed - 90 to 105 KIAS
- Start Switch - Blow until TOT <150 degrees
- Cont Ign - On
- Start Switch - Trigger Start then release off
When N1 accelerates through 15% - Condition Lever - High
- TOT Rise within 5 secs
- Oil Pressure - within limits
When engine had stabilised at IDLE (60% N1 or above) - Power Lever - increase to achieve safe flight

Airstart unsuccessful?
- Condition Lever - Cut Off / Feather
- Start switch - Blow for 1 sec then off

What does the WARNING say if Airstart is unsuccessful?
Failure to select BLOW for 1 sec, if Airstart Unsuccessful, will result in battery depletion due to starter motor continuing to run
Forced Landing
- Airspeed - 90 to 105 KIAS
- Power Lever - FI
- Condition Lever - Cut Off / Feather
- Fuel Tank Selector - Off
- CONT IGN - Off
- STBY FP - Off
- FP - Off
- Emergency Radio Call
- Select COM 2
- SET XPDR to 7700 ALT
- ELT - On
- All External Lights - Off
- Vent Fan - Off
- P/S Heat - Off if conditions allow
How long does the warning advise the remaining battery power will last from the time of engine failure?
40 mins
Cockpit Fire
- Batt - Off
- Gen - Off
- Bleed - Off
- Ventilation - Off
- Fire Extinguisher
- Airspeed - 90 to 105 KIAS
- Canopy - open up to 20cm
- ESI - press any button once
- ELT - Arm
- Land ASAP
- If height permits consider abandoning, see total loss of electrical power

Smoke / Fumes in the Cockpit
- Airspeed - 90 to 105 KIAS
- Canopy - Open up to 20cm to vent
- Bleed - in
- Ventilation - Off
- Vent Fan - Off

Low Oil Pressure indication
- Establish S+L flight
- Power Lever - Min req
- Check oil T+Ps
If warning clears within 5s
4. Continue sortie - ensure Aeros limits are adhered to
If warning not cleared and appeared during of directly after reduced/ -ve G flight, and Oil P is below 35psi:
5. Apply up to 4G for 2 sec to attempt to reseat the Inverted Oil Valve
If longer than 5s to clear warning
- No further reduced/negative g flight
- Land as soon as practicable
If Oil P remains below 35psi in S+L flight
Warning: the engine could fail without further warning
8. Land asap, be prepared for forced landing
9. Consider precautionary engine shutdown in flight
Oil Chip indication
- Power Lever - FI
- Oil T and P - Monitor
Warning: The engine could fail without further warning
- Land ASAP
Fuel Supply Malfunction
- Power Lever - as req
- Condition Lever - check HIGH
- Cont IGN - on
- FP - on
- STBY FP - on
- Use F Trans Pump or Fuel Tank Selector to control fuel asymmetry and assure fuel supply.
- Land ASAP, be prepared for Forced Landing
Fuel Filter Off
- Power Lever - min req
- Cont IGN - On
- Fuel Pressure - Monitor (12-25psi)
First Warning: Aeros prohibited, engine failure may occur without further warning
- Land ASAP
Low Fuel Pressure
- Power Lever - FI
- Cont IGN - On
- STBY FP - On
- FP - On
First warning: Aeros prohibited, engine failure may occur without further warning
- Fuel Qty + Asymmetry - Check
If req, re-establish fuel supply/ pressure by:
- F Trans Pump - On, or
- Fuel Tank Selector - EMERG Transfer
- Fuel Pressure - check approx 20psi
If the F Press warning persists and/or fuel pressure remains below 12psi
9. Land ASAP
Fuel Low Level
- Power Lever - FI
- Cont IGN - On
Warning: Aeros prohibited engine failure may occur without further warning
- Fuel qty + asymmetry - check
If fuel asymmetry cause the low fuel in the collector tank:
- F Trans Pump - On, or
- Fuel tank selector - EMERG transfer
If F Low Level warning persists:
6. Land ASAP, be prepared for forced landing
